Stantec has a fantastic career opportunity for a US Federal Program Leader (FPL) to develop, grow and execute the US federal account program strategy as part of the overall corporate business plan. The US Federal Program Leader (FPL) is responsible and accountable for federal program driving its success by yet not limited to: financial performance including revenue growth, talent attraction, engagement and retention, business development and winning of strategic pursuits, delivery of high quality professional services, business compliance, and health and safety adherence.
The US Federal Program Leader (FPL) assists in implementing Stantec s US business strategies and objectives. As an active partner in Stantec s collaborative model, the US Federal Program Leader (FPL) is an outstanding communicator, works in cooperation with Regional Leaders, Business Leaders, Sector Leaders and Discipline Leaders to maximize opportunities across business lines and within the overall Stantec client base. The FPL reports directly to the US Regional Operating Business Leader (ROUL).
Your Key Responsibilities
Accountable for Net Revenue growth by maintaining minimum double-digit organic growth and work with acquisitions team to identify evaluate, consummate and integrate potential acquisitions
Provide guidance and support to Account Managers and Business Lines in identification and pursuit of opportunities including providing critical input into teaming, proposals and contracts
Drive US Federal Regulatory Compliance by working with Federal Contracts Team (FCT) to maintain ongoing compliance with applicable FAR and CAS standards, provide proactive leadership to foresee necessary organizational challenges related to compliance. Expand usage of FCT for all accounts.
Maintain and evolve small business program to achieve industry-recognized excellence. Serve as the primary conduit for ongoing Mentor-Prot g relationship, and work with Small Business Program Manager and Executive Leadership to consider Mentor-Protege Program expansion
Leads Strategic Planning to increase the proportional share of NR to the organization, considering internal and external challenges and opportunities. Identify underutilized accounts, new accounts and develop and implement plans to address. Identify with leadership team and account managers strategic initiatives to permit continued program evolution.
Facilitates discussions with executive leadership on program status and organization evolution to support program growth
Identifies and supports operational groups to address execution challenges that may inhibit growth. Work with program, business line and operational teams to address day-to-day challenges. Complete necessary periodic reporting.
Implements successful employee attraction and retention activities
Positive frequent interactions with Stantec senior and executive leadership teams

Your Capabilities and Credentials:
Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
Extensive leadership experience organization combined with a university degree in a professional discipline
Proven experience with change management and organizational culture change
Strong financial management, people management and team building skills
Results-oriented individual who excels in a multi-disciplinary environment
Advanced communication and business development skills
Strong desire to succeed, enthusiastic, and possess the highest degree of integrity
Ability to travel across the US as needed
Education and Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience in the US Federal market with one or more federal agencies including existing relationships within one or more US Federal Agencies
Registration or certification in applicable professional discipline
