Additional responsibilities for the Family Practice Nurse Practitioner NP include:Monday-FridayWill see 10-12 patients per dayEvaluate and treat pediatric and adult primary care patients in the medical office settingMaintain written medical records in accordance with the method of practice and ensure they are available for daily reviewArrange referrals to physicians outside of the practice in accordance with Client protocols.The N.P. may, from standing treatment protocols or at the physician's direction, direct the dispensing of medications from the practice dispensary.
